Why Choose Vinyl Decking, Vinyl Fencing or Vinyl Railings ?
Vinyl vs. Wood
Fence maintenance, repair and replacement can be a major expense for individual homeowners. Over the past two decades vinyl fencing, vinyl railing and vinyl decking has become a popular alternative to using wood products. There are several reasons for homeowners and builders to choose vinyl products over more traditional materials:
- Vinyl is stronger and more flexible than wood.
- Vinyl has a transferable lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer. Wood products can't offer such a guarantee.
- Vinyl is beautiful in appearance and retains its original appearance year after year unlike weathered wood.
- Vinyl is maintenance free , eliminating the need to sand, paint or stain year after year to protect your investment.
- Vinyl increases property value because unlike wood it doesn't wear out and need to be replaced regularly.
- Vinyl is cost effective because unlike wood it doesn't need costly maintenance and replacement.

Quality Vinyl Decking, Vinyl Fencing or Vinyl Railings
There is a difference between vinyl! Don't be fooled by the gimmick pricing at your local home improvement stores. If you look closely,
you will find that their vinyl decking, vinyl fencing and vinyl railings are considerably inferior in many categories to our products. If you
plan on keeping your home and would like to have maintenance free vinyl fencing, vinyl railing or vinyl decking, the only choice would be
to make sure it's a quality product from the start.
Please review the following benefits of quality vinyl decking, vinyl fencing or vinyl railings to make sure you are making the best product
selection before you buy:
Vinyl Manufacturer's Warranty:
The first place to look for quality is in the manufacturer's vinyl warranty. If the vinyl manufacturer doesn't back their product up with a
non-prorated Lifetime Warranty (the lifetime of the purchaser) then you have reason for concern.
You should also ask who is standing behind the warranty. Is it the store? If so, what happens if the store discontinues the line? How do
you get a replacement? If the manufacturer is backing the warranty you should ask how long have they been in business and how likely
is it that they'll still be in business when you need them.
2. Screws, Brackets, Glue & Wall Thickness:
Does the fencing style you are looking at depend on screws, brackets and glue to hold the fence together or is it properly engineered so
that all pieces lock together into pre-routed slots for strength and durability?
Also, you'll find that the wall thickness of the discount vinyl fencing are much thinner and more likely to sustain a dent, crack, break or
become brittle in the extreme Ohio and Michigan seasonal temperatures.
3. Vinyl U.V. Protection:
How the fencing is protected from ultra violet light is an important consideration as well. Our fences use Titanium Dioxide which creates
a sun block. This ensures that your vinyl fence will be able to stand up to the damaging rays of the sun throughout your lifetime and the
vinyl manufacturer guarantees it. If there is not sufficient protection you can expect that your vinyl fence will yellow, become brittle and
begin to break down over time. This is what most home owners are trying to avoid by purchasing vinyl fence so it's important to be sure
that the right amount of U.V. Protection is used and that the manufacturer will stand behind this claim.
4. What Are Impact Modifiers?
Impact Modifiers are a special series of chemicals (acrylic modifiers) that keep the vinyl fencing strong and flexible even in very cold
weather. Some manufacturers cut corners and save money here. This problem you may not notice until it is too late costing you more to
replace. Once again, a Lifetime Warranty from the vinyl fence manufacturer's is your only real protection because impact modifying
compounds are not detectable by the naked eye. It takes laboratory testing to determine that the correct amount had been used.
5. What Are ASTM Standards?
ASTM F964-94 is a standard for manufacturers of vinyl fencing that the better manufacturers meet or exceed. Not all manufacturers
comply with these standards so it makes sense to ask. If they don't know what the ASTM standards are, it is likely that the vinyl fence
doesn't comply.
A good quality vinyl fence will last you a lifetime. If you'd like to do the job once and do it right then we have the right vinyl fencing for you.
